Magen David Case

Description

The Magen David Torah Case is a striking creation by Avi Luvaton, crafted in his Jerusalem studio, inspired by the most enduring symbol of the Jewish people.

This Torah case features a deep blue carbon fiber body, its luminous gradient shifting like evening light over Jerusalem stone. At its heart, a sculptural Star of David in polished silver-toned metal spans the case's two doors — split in two, and made whole each time the case is closed: a quiet reflection of a people, scattered and gathered again. Pierced bands of interlacing Magen David motifs encircle the crown and base, while two hammered rimonim rise above the case like silver trumpets, completing the piece with regal presence. An innovative magnetic closure ensures the Torah scroll is securely protected, blending functionality with artistry.

A celebration of identity and faith, the Magen David Torah Case honors the Torah as the treasure of an eternal people — its design revealed in full splendor when the Aron Hakodesh is opened.

Custom commissions typically take few months from design approval to delivery. In-stock pieces ship within few weeks.

Personalization options include dedication engraving, family or donor inscriptions, color and finish selection, and bespoke design elements.
